Róisín is a writer.

She lives in rural Ballinasloe, Co. Galway. She started writing when she moved to Liverpool in her late twenties. Her first piece of writing was chosen and published as a finalist for Pulp Idol novel contest. From there, she educated herself in every aspect of the craft from prose, screen, performance to poetry.

Her work always features place and unmoored characters as she has moved so many times in her life. With an authoritative voice and musical quality, she’s often told she is ‘a natural born storyteller with a deft touch’.

She has performed locally and internationally and most proudly collaborated with the women of Cope Galway, Mervue, to create community storytelling sessions.
